Bachelor of Arts

      Bachelor of Arts is a three year degree course after +2 in which mostly 4 or 5 subjects are taught such as Hindi, English or other language, Political Science, History, Economics, Geography, Sociology, Psychology or other social science subjects or Fine Arts, Health Physical Education etc. Specialisation or Honours courses can also be done in any one subject as a major such as B.A. in Fine Arts or English etc.

Diploma  in  Elementary Education (D.EL.ED.)/Bachelor of  Education (B.Ed.)

     Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/D.Ed) programme is meant for training of in-service teachers working in primary/ upper primary schools. Whereas Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course is meant for training of teachers for teaching at secondary and senior secondary classes.

Eligibility (D.EL.ED) - 10+2 standard examination with 50% marks and teaching experience at the time of seeking admission is also required in some institutes

Educational /Vocational School Counsellor


The course deals in techniques of counselling individuals and providing group educational and vocational guidance services, crisis intervention for students, how to resolve behavioural, academic, and other problems.

Art Restoration

Art restoration is a specialized course which involves inspection, documentation, treatment and precautionary care of the art objects.

     A curator is a manager or overseer of a cultural heritage institution such as gallery, museum, library, or archives in charge of content and institution's collections and involved with the interpretation of heritage material.

Monuments and sculpture restoration

Restoration (cultural heritage), is the process through which trained professionals clean, repair and restore a damaged artwork. These types of art work could include paintings to sculptures to even manuscripts. These ancient artefacts, monuments and paintings are maintained and are given a new life by art conservators and art restoration or by Monuments and Sculpture restoration experts.

Social Work

      Social work course is the study to prevent and alleviate the social problems in the society like social injustice, unemployment, destitution, etc. which has damaging effects and providing support to individuals through removal of barriers amongst the individuals, groups & communities.

Eligibility : For BA Course: 10+2

  • For PG course: Graduate in any stream preferably with sociology & psychology as options during graduation.

Generally an All India level test is conducted by Universities followed by interview. Some Institutes offer admissions on the basis of marks obtained in last qualified exam.
